Why is my first bill higher than expected?

When your broadband service first goes live, your billing cycle needs to be aligned with our standard monthly billing schedule.

Because of this, your first bill may include:

• A pro-rata charge covering the period from your service start date to the beginning of the next billing cycle

• Your first full monthly charge, which is billed in advance

This means your first invoice can sometimes cover more than one month of service.

After your first bill, your account will move onto the standard monthly billing cycle and your future bills will normally return to the expected monthly amount.
