If your SIM is not working or your phone shows no signal, it is usually caused by a temporary connection issue, incorrect SIM placement, or device settings. Restarting your phone or checking the SIM card will often resolve the issue.
1. Restart your phone
A simple restart can resolve many SIM or network issues. Turn your phone off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
2. Check the SIM card
Remove the SIM card from your device and check that:
• The SIM is not damaged
• It is inserted correctly
• The SIM tray is fully closed
Reinsert the SIM and power the device back on.
3. Toggle airplane mode
Turning airplane mode on and off can refresh your phone’s connection to the network.
Your phone should reconnect to the network.
4. Check your phone software
Make sure your phone’s operating system is up to date. Software updates can resolve network or connectivity issues.
5. Reset your network settings
Resetting your network settings can resolve configuration issues.

6. Check your usage
In some cases, service restrictions such as spend caps or account limits may affect certain services.

If possible, insert the SIM into another phone.
