If you have a Full Fibre connection, your home will include a device called an Optical Network Terminal (ONT). The lights on this device help indicate whether your connection is working correctly.
What is an ONT?
An Optical Network Terminal (ONT) connects your property to the fibre broadband network. It converts the fibre signal into a connection that your router can use.
Power light
The Power light shows whether the ONT is receiving power. This light should normally be ON.
If the Power light is off:
PON light
The PON (Passive Optical Network) light indicates whether the ONT is connected to the fibre network.
This light should normally be solid green.
If the PON light is off or the LOS light is red, the ONT may not be receiving a signal.
You can try the following:
LAN light
The LAN light shows whether the ONT is connected to your router.
This light should normally be green.
If the LAN light is off:
