How do I check my data usage?

You can check how much mobile data you have used directly in your device settings. Most smartphones and tablets show a breakdown of total data usage and which apps are using the most data.

Checking data usage on Android

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Network & Internet
3. Select Internet or Mobile Network
4. Tap your mobile network
5. You will see the total amount of data used

To see which apps are using the most data:

• Tap App data usage
• Review the list of apps and their usage

Checking data usage on iPhone or iPad

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Mobile Data or Cellular
3. Scroll down to view Current Period Usage

You will also see a breakdown showing which apps are using mobile data.

Important note about data usage
The data usage displayed on your device may not exactly match your billing cycle.

This is because:

• Your device measures usage locally
• Your provider measures usage directly on the network
