How do I change my Wi-Fi password?

Last updated: 15 April 2026

Before you start
We strongly recommend completing this process using a computer connected to your router via an Ethernet cable.

Changing settings over Wi-Fi may cause you to disconnect before the changes are saved.

Steps to change your Wi-Fi password
Open a web browser and enter:

TP Link Router: 192.168.1.1

Eero Router: 192.168.0.1

Nokia Router: 192.168.18.1

  1. Log in using the username and password found on the back of your router
  2. Navigate to the Wireless settings section
  3. Select the settings (gear icon) to access Wi-Fi configuration
  4. Update the password in the 'Wireless password' field
  5. Click Save to apply the changes

After changing your password
Once your password has been updated, all previously connected devices will be disconnected.

You will need to reconnect each device using your new Wi-Fi password.

Important
We are unable to recover or reset your custom Wi-Fi password, so please make sure you store it somewhere safe.
