Residential Broadband Price Guide

This price guide sets out standard monthly charges and other fees for residential broadband services provided by Onestream Limited trading as Cuckoo Broadband ("Cuckoo"). All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.

We no longer offer digital voice or home phone services. Calling rates, line rental and related add-ons are not included in this guide.

Full fibre broadband packages

TrueFibre is used to describe FTTP (Fibre to the Premise) services. FTTP services provide an unbroken fibre connection all the way from an exchange directly to the property, offering speeds of up to 1Gbps. FTTP services are not provided with a voice service or telephone line as standard.

Broadband packages (SoGEA)

All new Cuckoo broadband packages are provided without a PSTN line. This type of service is known as SoGEA (single order generic ethernet access). This means that the broadband will be delivered in the same way to your home via a copper cable but it will not carry a voice service.

All Cuckoo broadband speeds referred to in this price guide, on our website or in any of our other materials are maximum download speeds, unless otherwise stated.

Broadband speeds are dependent on all hardware, computing and other equipment components meeting certain minimum specifications, being fully functional and working at full speed.

The operating range of wireless equipment can vary according to the layout of your home. Other factors can also impact internet speeds, such as the distance of your home from the network exchange, the number of people using the internet, the level of use of the internet and other environmental and technological influences.

Early termination fee (ETF)

An early termination fee may apply when you cancel your agreement with us during the 12, 18 or 24-month minimum term (whichever is applicable). For more detail, please see our Terms and Conditions.

Your early termination fee is based on the services that make up your package and the number of months remaining until the end of your minimum term.

How we calculate your early termination fee

Calculating your early termination fee is simple: the monthly termination fee for your service is multiplied by the number of months remaining. If you didn't pay an activation fee, or paid a reduced fee when you joined, the standard price for broadband activation will also be included in your early termination fee, as well as the router if you have one.

Any part month is rounded up to a full month. This means that if there are 3.5 months between the date you leave and the end of your minimum term, the monthly termination fee is multiplied by 4 months.

Example: You are a Cuckoo Fibre 80 customer and you end your contract 4 months before the end of your minimum term. Your monthly termination fee would be £17.00, multiplied by 4 months remaining = £68.00. You didn't pay an activation fee when joining, which means £99.00 is added, as well as a charge for your Superstream router of £125.00, making your total early termination fee £292.00.

Additional products you could be charged for: Cuckoo Assured, if activated (due to engineer visit), is charged at £4.95 multiplied by the number of months remaining.

Should your early termination fee charge not be settled within 30 days of your account being closed, an administration fee of £100 will be applied when your account is passed to debt collection.
