Broadband disruptor Cuckoo will see its full fibre availability explode nationally to an initial 17M+ homes ahead of becoming the largest full-fibre only broadband provider

Cuckoo, has today announced a sweeping nationwide expansion that will drive our full-fibre availability above other major broadband providers including BT, Vodafone and Sky.

The development centres around Cuckoo's ability to access AllPoints Fibre Networks (APFN) Wholesale platform.

In addition to its existing partnerships and premises served by its own network, APFN’s platform will allow Cuckoo’s full fibre offering to reach more than 17 million premises nationwide.

This number is set to increase further, as APFN’s partner networks continue to roll-out full fibre at pace, giving an increasing number of households the opportunity to access Cuckoo’s customer-centric brand of fast, fair and feel-good broadband.

While other national providers continue to sell FTTC products, Cuckoo’s strategy to focus solely on FTTP full-fibre, over outdated copper connections, has allowed for a greater focus on delivering the fastest and most reliable service, whilst also delivering the best possible experience to its customers.

Cuckoo’s national expansion and scale will see them go head-to-head with the biggest names in broadband as we build on our mission to revolutionise the sector's reputation for poor customer service.

Cuckoo is the first broadband provider to be using Kraken, the customer operating platform behind the success of Octopus Energy, and has already been voted twice in a row as MoneySavingExpert’s top broadband provider for customer service.

Paul Hellings, CEO at Cuckoo, said:

“Our nationwide roll-out is opening our full-fibre customer-obsessed offering to a record number of households as we proudly become the nation’s largest full-fibre only broadband provider.

With this, we’re establishing ourselves as a major broadband player as we look to realise our ultimate vision in becoming the UK’s most recommended way to connect.”

“The industry has become uncaring, unfair and unclear and we believe that customers across the country have been subject to poor connectivity and even worse customer service for far too long. Change is long overdue and at Cuckoo we will remain dedicated to providing our customers with an unmatched experience”
