The Cuckoo Community Referral Scheme 

1.0. The terms and conditions (below) apply to the Cuckoo Community Referral Scheme. . The Scheme rewards referrers (organisations promoting Cuckoo fibre broadband services to potential consumer customers through a personalised weblink (“Link”) with £100 each time a new customer joins Cuckoo through the Link. The Scheme also rewards the referrer an additional £25 every time the same customer renews their contract with Cuckoo (“Scheme”).

2.0 The referral scheme rewards a referrer £100 when:

a) a new consumer customer orders any of Cuckoo’s 150 Mpbs, 500 Mpbs or 900 Mpbs broadband packages online through the Link given to the referrer by Cuckoo; and

b) The customer’s broadband package is successfully installed; and

c) The customer pays their first two monthly service charges for the broadband service.

3.0 The referral scheme rewards a referrer £25 on renewal of a customer’s contract when:

a) The referred customer reaches the end of their fixed term contract with Cuckoo and renews the contract for the same fixed term as the original contract.

4.0. Limitations and administration:

a) There is no limit to the amount of referrals a referring organisation can make.

b) The referring organisation will be rewarded the £25 each time their referral renews their contract with Cuckoo up to a maximum of 4 renewal payments.

c) At the end of each month, the amount of online referrals using the link will be totalled. When these referrals are installed and the customer pays their first two bills, the organisation will be paid for the total amount of successful referrals made. The money will be transferred into the organisations nominated bank account.

d) The £100 and £25 referral rewards are only available as bank transfers to the referrers nominated account.

e) The organisation making the referral must abide by the terms of the Cuckoo Community Referral Scheme Contract.

f) Every organisation applying for the Scheme must be approved by Cuckoo. If the organisation promoting Cuckoo breaches the terms of the Scheme or otherwise acts in a way that could bring Cuckoo into disrepute, Cuckoo reserves the right to withdraw the arrangement

g) Every organisation must use their own personalised Link sent to them by Cuckoo.

h) When an organisation promotes Cuckoo, it must not make any claims that are not provided within the Referral Presenter

5.0 You will not be eligible to referral scheme if:

a) You refer a customer to us other than through the Link; Referrals not made through the Link , for example if the person you refer signs up through a third party such as a price comparison site or by visiting the website without using the Link orr calling our team.

b) The customer you refer does not get the service installed

c) The customer you refer fails credit checks

d) The customer you refer does not pay their first two monthly service bills

Cuckoo reserves the right to withdraw the Scheme at anytime. Terms and conditions are subject to change.

6.0 Scheme Terms and Conditions

Provision of the Link and/or marketing materials and our consent to you promoting Cuckoo and its services and use of the Cuckoo brand and trademarks is strictly subject to these terms and conditions (and any contract you sign with us) in respect of the Scheme which shall apply to the exclusion of any other terms or arrangements.

You agree to promote and market Cuckoo’s services strictly on and in accordance with these terms and conditions, but not otherwise.

You must not make any statement or representation concerning us, any contract you enter into with us and any of our products and services, and must not use our trademarks, logos or the Cuckoo name in marketing material other than in the form provided by us or as agreed in writing in advance.

Except for liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or where you have suffered loss or damage due to fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation (which shall be unlimited), our liability to you whether under contract, tort (including negligence) breach of statute or otherwise shall be limited to the amount of commission paid to you in the previous 12 months. In addition, we shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loses or damage howsoever arising.

We deploy industry standard virus protection and other security measures but disclaim any warranty (and make no assurances or commitments) that the Link provided to you is fault or error free, will be continuously available or is free from all viruses, and malicious code or that any security measures deployed by us are sufficient to neutralise such threats.   

We can end the Scheme or our relationship, at any time on notice to you and without liability, including where you break any of these terms.

We may also change the Scheme or Scheme terms or rules at any time by notice to you.

These terms and conditions and our relationship (including any non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
